Donate $10 with Paze. Get $10 back. Up to 10 times per card.
Paze is giving a $10 statement credit on every $10+ online purchase paid with Paze checkout, up to 10 times per card. Tefillin Connection accepts Paze, so a $10 donation can come back to you as a $10 credit. Repeat it on every eligible card you own.

What is Paze?
Paze is an online checkout wallet built by the big US banks (Chase, Bank of America, Capital One, Citi, PNC, Truist, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo and more). There is no app to download and no account to create. Your eligible credit and debit cards are already in it, and you unlock them at checkout with the email or phone number on file with your bank. Amex cards are not in Paze.
How to donate $10 with Paze
- Click Donate $10 with Paze.
- Enter your first name, last name and email address on the checkout page.
- Under Select payment method, choose Paze.
- Enter the email address or mobile number your bank has on file for you, then enter the one-time code your bank sends.
- Paze shows your eligible cards, with this banner at the top of the Paze window:Spend $10, get $10 back, up to 10 times.$10 issued as a statement credit.
If you see that banner, your donation qualifies. Pick a card.
- Click Pay $10.00. You will see a green checkmark with Paid $10.00 under the Tefillin Connection banner. That is your confirmation; a receipt from Tefillin Connection also arrives by email.
- Come back to this page and do it again. Each donation is a separate $10 checkout. Up to 10 credits per card means ten $10 donations on one card can earn $100 back on that card. If Clover errors out after about 6 in a row on one card, switch to another card and keep going; the first card works again after 1 to 2 days.
Have more than one card? Every eligible card in your Paze wallet earns its own 10 credits. Switch cards at step 5.
Setting up Paze the first time
Most people need to do nothing: if your bank participates, your cards appear automatically at step 5. If a card is missing, add it from your bank’s app or website.
- Chase: Chase app, tap More, then Digital Wallet, then Paze, and add each card.
- Bank of America, Capital One, Citi, PNC, Truist, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo: log in, search “Paze” in the app or site, and turn on each card. Make sure the email and phone number on your bank profile are the ones you type at checkout.
- Full list of participating banks: paze.com.
DansDeals has a step-by-step guide with screenshots: It Now Pays To Use Paze: Get Up To $100 Back Per Card. Eligible Chase cards also earn 10 bonus Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on Paze checkout through December 2026 (check your card’s benefits page in the Chase app).
Where your $10 goes

Tefillin Connection provides kosher tefillin to men who cannot afford their own pair and commit to wrapping every day. Every $10 helps fund parshiyos written by certified sofrim, batim, retzuos and the careful checking that makes a pair kosher. Ten $10 donations from you, with $100 back from Paze, is real money toward a pair for someone who has never owned tefillin.

FAQ
Will I really get $10 back?
The credit comes from Paze under its “Spend $10, Get $10 Back” offer, not from Tefillin Connection. Paze’s published exclusions are gambling, pharmacies, financial services, adult content, guns, government fines, political fundraising, medical services and a few specialty categories. Charitable donations are not on that list, and the Paze checkout on this page shows the “Spend $10, get $10 back, up to 10 times” banner, which is Paze confirming the donation counts. Paze can change merchant categories at any time, so we cannot guarantee a credit. Read the terms at paze.com/offers.
When does the credit post?
Paze says within 2 billing cycles. Many donors have seen credits within days, some have waited weeks. It appears on your card statement as a credit, not as a discount at checkout.
Do I have to donate exactly $10?
No. The credit is $10 per qualifying transaction of $10 or more. A $9.99 donation does not qualify, which is why the button is fixed at $10. To give more, use the choose-your-amount link. Ten separate $10 donations earn ten credits; one $100 donation earns one.
Can I use several cards?
Yes. Each eligible card earns up to 10 credits. Debit and credit cards from participating banks both qualify.
Do I need a Paze account or app?
No. Paze is built into your bank. You verify with a one-time code from your bank at checkout.
Is it secure?
Paze never shares your card number with us, and Clover, our payment processor, hosts the checkout page. We only see your name, email and the amount.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes, an emailed receipt from Tefillin Connection arrives after each donation. Tefillin Connection is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (City of Refuge Inc DBA Tefillin). No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation. For a year-end acknowledgment letter, use our contact page.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Tefillin Connection is a 501(c)(3), so donations are generally deductible. Because Paze may reimburse you $10, please consult your tax advisor about how that affects your deduction.
The Paze button is not showing at checkout.
Use a desktop or mobile web browser, not an in-app browser. Make sure you clicked through to the Clover checkout page. If it still does not appear, send us a screenshot through the contact page.
Can I donate $10 ten times in a row?
Yes. Finish one checkout, return to this page, click the button again. Some banks send a new one-time code each time.
Clover gave me an error after several donations.
Clover, the payment processor, will often error out after about 6 payments in a row per card. Your earlier donations still went through (check for the receipt emails). Switch to a different card and keep going. The earlier card usually works again after 1 to 2 days, so come back and continue until September 10.
